A. Schulman becomes exclusive distribution partner for suspension-, micro suspension- and E-PVC Grades
AKRON, Ohio – March 29, 2018 – A. Schulman Inc. (Nasdaq-GS: SHLM), a leading international supplier of high-performance plastic compounds, powders, composites and resins, today announced has become the exclusive distributor in Northwestern Europe of specific VESTOLIT PVC grades.
VESTOLIT - a subsidiary of Mexichem S.A.B de C.V - is one of the leading producers of PVC-Specialties worldwide.
Under the terms of the agreement, A. Schulman is the exclusive distribution partner for VESTOLIT’S Suspension-, Micro suspension- and Emulsion (E)-PVC grades in selected European countries. The PVC grades are produced by a suspension process and are ideal for thermoplastic processing, while the grades produced by micro-suspension are used in paste-processing. VESTOLIT’s Emulsion(E)-PVC grades can be used in both, paste- as well as thermoplastic processing.

With the aim of widening the Company’s offering to its European customers, A. Schulman has greatly broadened its distribution services of over the last months. The Company just recently revealed extended distribution agreements with other important market players, namely API, Solvay and Eastman.
