From Polystyrene over ABS, PP to nylons and polyesters we offer flame retardant solutions.
The products meet different classifications of UL94, IEC, NF, DIN and other international or local standards.
We can offer high expertise in solutions for the IEC 60335-1 for unattended appliances. Compounds of different polymers meet glow wire flammability at 850°C as well as glow wire ignition of minimum 775°C, meaning no ignition or "no flame" at 750°C.
Meeting tough flammability standards and at the same time deal with environmental concerns is the aim of our halogen free FR2 technology for polyamides. Even without the use of halogen this technology can also offer robust solutions for several tough requirements.
We watch regulating authorities closely and already today develop the products for tomorrow. HBCDD is on the list of candidates with REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals) and future use of this flame retardant additive is uncertain, as it is proven to be risk for the environment. We already have the HBCDD free Polystyrene in the field, providing a maximum of certainty of future compliance for our customer.
